Hi. My name is Marco "ERAS" Holzinger.

I have a great fascination for technology and craftsmanship, as well as graffiti and art in general. I also love pop culture like Star Wars, classic Disney productions or Lord of the Rings, and sometimes you can see that in my work.

About me

I'm Marco – or better known as ERAS. Since I first held a spray can in 1998, the world of colors, shapes and letters hasn't let me go. Starting in the classic graffiti scene, my art has evolved over the years into space: from the wall into the third dimension. I love working with materials that weren't originally intended for art – Styrodur, steel, construction boards. Cutting things up, reassembling them, playing with colors, textures, light and shadow.

Many of my works feel like built graffiti, often inspired by film worlds like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or old childhood memories. What is especially important to me: art should touch people – not just visually, but emotionally and communally. That's why I often work participatively, run workshops, develop concepts where people can build, think and create together – whether children, apprentices or entire companies.
